When we start out with a new goal, we have a tendency to think we need to go all in.

Go for it with gusto.

Part of us is afraid when our intentions will fizzle out.

This mindset may stop us from even starting.

But what if you had a different mindset?

What if you just tried to improve 1% each day?

Take the gusto moments when they come, but when they don’t, a 1% better than yesterday approach still helps get you to your goal.

The brain loves a goal.

But don’t let it get sidetracked when you lose motivation.

That ALWAYS happens along the journey towards ANY goal.

We are often ‘surprised’ when we lose motivation.

Expect it.

Accept that it is part of the process and put your 1% plan in place.

And don’t forget to have fun in the process of getting to the goal.

If we are grumpy along the entire way, what’s the point?

And we most likely will still be grumpy when we get to the goal.

We get what we practice.

Isn’t that fascinating?

Enjoy the journey.

Even the 1%.
